This year, the National Weather Service states the 365-day rainfall in our area is approximately TEN INCHES BELOW the prior year!
It’s been another year of extreme temperatures and dry conditions leading to insufficient moisture, resulting in weakened root systems, trees dropping leaves to conserve energy, and increased susceptibility to disease and insects.
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
Introducing a water management technology (Humectant) that converts soil moisture vapor into plant usable water droplets. This Hydration solution helps the plant make use of moisture that would be otherwise lost to evaporation.
Our Hydration provides the following benefits:
- Reduces Drought Stress and Wilt
- Increases nutrient uptake
- Delays wilt and extends leaf life
- Reduces watering requirements
- Reduces Winter desiccation (dehydration)
Humectants are used in our everyday life in facial/skin moisturizers. (Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin). The Humectant solution is applied to the soil area around the tree trunk.
Combined with Fall Fertilizer, trees will benefit even more, utilizing nutrients throughout the year in different ways
T & T Tree Service’s fertilizer uses an ORGANIC selection of balanced materials including a multiple-stage slow-release blend of nitrogen, potassium, iron, manganese, and zinc. We add soil amending materials and additional potassium to improve the resistance to stress factors.
T & T injects the fertilizer approximately 4 – 6” under the soil into the root zone of the plants where the “feeder” roots are located.
