Hiring a licensed and certified ISA Arborist is the most important decision you can make about your trees and shrubs. Obtaining these credentials requires significant knowledge about tree care and insect prevention/treatment.
All tree service companies in New Jersey MUST BE licensed by the State to operate.
For your protection, insist your tree company is fully insured, including General Liability and Workers Compensation insurances. Ask for a Certificate of Insurance before any work starts.
It is important that you take the time to check on your trees to see if any are in decline or dead. Trees that are in decline can sometimes be saved if treated. Trees that are dead become more dangerous as time goes on.
